The Trade and Industry Bureau of Jilin Province entrusted the Jilin Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce to perform spot checks on LED lamps produced and sold by 28 enterprises in Zhongshan, Foshan and Shenzhen. The quality inspection of this commodity is based on GB7000.1-2005 "GB 7000.1-2007 General Requirements and Tests for Luminaire Part 1", GB/T 24908-2010 "Performance Requirements for Self-ballasted LED Lamps for General Lighting", GB24906-2010 "Ordinary "Safety Requirements for Lighting Self-Ballasting LED Lamps Above 50V", GB24819-2009 "Safety Requirements for LED Modules for General Lighting", GB/T24823-2010 "Performance Requirements for LED Modules for General Lighting" or Enterprise Standards or Enterprises Adopted for Product Packing The quality commitments made were tested. Signs, lamp power, initial light efficiency, power factor, color characteristics, insulation resistance, and interfacial strength were tested separately. According to the sampling results, the major unqualified items are signs (marks, markings), lamp power, color characteristics, dielectric strength, and electrical strength. Among them, there were 16 samples that failed the electric strength.
From the perspective of electrical classification, the LED fluorescent lamp belongs to type II anti-shock type, which requires that the input of the LED fluorescent lamp between the accessible parts, as well as the need to meet the insulation resistance and electrical strength requirements of the reinforced insulation level between input to the mounting surface. At present, many LED fluorescent lamps can pass through during the insulation resistance test, but the resistance strength test fails. This is mainly due to the selection of the transformer with built-in power supply and the installation position of the LED module's aluminum substrate. Many companies choose to use non-isolated transformers for cost-saving or high-efficiency power supplies, which can result in the incompatibility between the input and output ends of the built-in power supply. At the same time, since the aluminum substrate of the LED module is in direct contact with the metal shell during installation, the insulation level between the input end and the accessible part cannot meet the electrical strength requirements of the reinforced insulation class.
For the defective LED lamps and lanterns that failed to pass the sampling inspection results, the industrial and commercial department has ordered the relevant operators to lower the counters and investigate and deal with them in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
