The cable Glands is also called the cable head. After the cable is laid, in order to make it a continuous line, each section of the line must be connected as a whole, and these connection points are called Plastic Cable Glands. The Nylon Cable Gland in the middle of the cable line are called intermediate joints, and the PA cable glands at both ends of the line are called terminal heads. The Cable Glands is used to lock and fix the incoming and outgoing lines, and play the role of waterproof, dustproof and shockproof.

Its main function is to make the line unobstructed, keep the cable sealed, and ensure the insulation level of the Cable Glands, so that it can run safely and reliably. If the seal is not good, not only will the oil leak and cause the oil-impregnated paper to dry up, but also moisture will invade the inside of the cable, reducing its insulation performance.
Apple's cash reserves exceeded $261.5 billion to easily buy Wal-Mart
[Global Science and Technology Report] As reported by CNBC on August 2, Apple's cash reserves have once again seen an increase compared to the previous quarter, which stood at $256.8 billion. The company now holds more than $261.5 billion, representing a 13% rise from the same period last year.
With its current market valuation, Apple has enough liquid assets to purchase Oracle, the global leader in information management software and services, even after setting aside $54 billion in reserve funds. Additionally, Apple could acquire Walmart, the world’s largest retailer by revenue, or AT&T, the second-largest mobile carrier in the U.S.
According to Luca Maestria, Apple's CFO, $246 billion of the company’s cash reserves are held overseas, accounting for 94% of the total.

During a conference call with analysts, CEO Tim Cook emphasized that Apple’s operations span the globe. For instance, the opening of a new retail store in Dubai marks a key element of Apple's evolving retail strategy. This quarter, sales of the iPad in major markets such as the U.S., Japan, Germany, France, and China experienced double-digit growth.
However, Apple is not without challenges. The company faces significant tax implications related to repatriating profits. Cook supports tax reform, particularly the one-time repatriation policy proposed by President Trump. Such a policy would allow Apple to allocate these funds toward acquiring other companies or returning value to shareholders.
While Apple’s highly anticipated investments in Didi and Beats are noteworthy, the company has been relatively conservative in its broader investment activities. Instead, Apple has focused heavily on research and development. In the latest quarter, R&D spending climbed from $2.56 billion during the same period last year to $2.94 billion, marking nine consecutive months of growth.
Rob Guber, an Apple investor and CEO of Gerber Kawasaki Wealth and Investment Management, appreciates Apple’s cautious approach to acquisitions. “The acquisition of Beats was a good move,†Guber noted. “I believe Apple should explore opportunities in other sectors and continue diversifying.â€
As the tech giant continues to navigate global markets and regulatory environments, its strategic decisions remain under close scrutiny. Investors and industry experts alike are eager to see how Apple leverages its substantial financial resources moving forward.
