For Intel, even if only one Samsung Android tablet carries its Atom chip, this will be a significant milestone for the chip maker in the mobile space.

Five years ago, Intel developed the Atom series chips, which were initially used only for low-end PC products such as netbooks. Last year, Intel successfully brought the Atom chip into the mobile market, thus winning the “proof” campaign.
