The world's highest voltage UHV transformer was launched

Recently, the world's first prototype of the highest voltage and maximum capacity 1500MVA/1000kV single-phase UHV AC transformer has passed all test projects in China. The transformer is developed by Tianwei Baoji and has completely independent intellectual property rights and core technologies. The main performance indicators have reached the international advanced level.

During the product development process, Tianwei Baoji mastered key technologies such as the main longitudinal insulation arrangement of UHV high-capacity transformers, the control of coil magnetic flux distribution, and the control of temperature rise of the coils, so that the products have low loss, low noise, and small size. Strong resistance to short circuit, no local overheating and other significant advantages, can guarantee the long-term safe and stable operation of the product.
