LATTICE and Valens Announce HDBaseTTM Camera Reference Design

The HDBaseT camera reference design solution accepts multiple 1080P sensor cameras and transmits uncompressed HD video to the DVR via a single 150m CAT5e cable, as well as power and various control signals. Unlike IP cameras, these cameras are simpler, cheaper and offer excellent image quality with zero delay. It facilitates enhanced video analysis with optimal real-time monitoring quality in DVRs. This architecture simplifies installation and does not require any special configuration or maintenance, making it ideal for replacement or upgrades of analog and PTZ cameras.

The Valens HDBaseT chipset enables wired transmission of long-distance uncompressed HD content over a standard LAN cable.
