Exploring the automatic production line of Tengshi electric vehicle: how the robot is applied

Electric cars are a familiar but unfamiliar thing for us. Nowadays, all kinds of news about new energy technologies are endless. Various electric vehicles are often seen in newspapers, but what is the difference between electric vehicles and ordinary cars? What are the new things in the body of an electric car? Let's walk into the Tengshi factory and see how an electric car was born.
In fact, like ordinary cars, the birth of an electric car also requires four processes of stamping, welding, painting, and final assembly. The production process is basically the same. The biggest difference is that the engine installation process is changed to the assembly of the motor and the battery.
Tengshi Electric Vehicle Factory is located in Shenzhen BYD Industrial Park. It was rebuilt in November 2012. In June 2013, the reconstruction work was completed and the production of electric vehicles was launched. The Tengshi plant is jointly planned by BYD and Daimler Group. Daimler Group provides many advanced management experience and design concepts in the process of designing and installing the factory and production line.
Our visit is the welding and assembly shop of the Tengshi electric vehicle. The welding workshop is the first time that Tengshi is open to the public. Let me follow my footsteps and see what advanced "car-making" is available.
