As the surface temperature of the workpiece increases, the resistivity of the workpiece increases. According to the different depth of quenching, it can be divided into three types:

High frequency heating facilities:
It has a set of equipment that converts the power frequency from 50 cycles/second to high frequency (70000~1000000 cycles/second) (it is generally considered appropriate to use a vacuum tube high frequency generator) with a quenching depth of less than 3 mm.

Intermediate frequency heating facilities:
It also has a set of equipment that converts the power frequency from 50 cycles/second to medium frequency (500~10000 cycles/second). It is usually an intermediate frequency generator (low power factor) and a thyristor inverter with a quenching depth of about 5 mm. .

Power frequency induction heating facilities:
The power frequency of the inductor is the same as the frequency of the grid, ie 50 cycles/second, so the energy can be extracted directly from the grid + 羭缕, and the quenching depth is above 10 mm. Not enough is the power factor is too low.
