Apple gets a patent for a custom avatar creation tool but it seems to be used there

[Summary] Apple has finally obtained a patent for a custom avatar creation tool after a lapse of six years.

Tencent Digital (Hamish) A few days ago, the US Patent and Trademark Office just approved a patent for creating and customizing avatar tools from Apple, which was submitted as early as in 2011.

This tool allows users to create their own virtual avatars more quickly and create completed avatars that can be used in messaging applications, email clients, contacts, and games.

Judging from the picture notes attached to the patent, Apple is likely to create an independent avatar creation application like Microsoft's Xbox Avatars and Nintendo Miis. In addition, there is a patent image showing an interface similar to Game Center in iOS. The game data is displayed on the side of the user-defined avatar.

Finally, we also saw the iPad version of this tool.
