Performance evaluation

We bought these cards to run 3dsmax, because I'm not specifically responsible for modeling. So in the end, the advantages of using professional cards over the use of game cards are not clear. Many subjective feelings cannot be quantified, and the gap in data depends on Viewperf.

This stuff is hard to find. It took a long time to find a 12.1 version that was relatively new. (By the way, 4G is packaged to compress nearly 50G, the compression ratio is amazing, it's all textures... It takes a long time to run with PC Mark...)

In the end, I took the time to run 3Dmark. The result is obvious. As the weakened version of the RX480 VS weakened version 980, the RX480 public version is equivalent to the M5000, and the WX7100 loses one's sensation.


In addition, the WX7100's driver interface is simply dazzling, and Quadro's ugly home panel is of several orders of magnitude! Unfortunately, many functions have also been found in the traditional panel. There are not many functions available in the Crimson interface. I haven't used more advanced features, so I'll put them together and have a look.

Finally, mentioning the temperature, it is a pity that the single-slot radiator is really a bit difficult, compared with the M5000's full load of 70 degrees, the case of the hot-skinned WX7100 has to have more than 80 degrees (currently there is no way to monitor the temperature of the WX7100 ), noise is also more obvious than the M5000, but it is certainly still stronger than the RX480 public version of the default fan settings (heat sink cost difference is too much now!!)

Well, in fact, I'm not a user of professional cards. Just from a quantitative point of view, the WX7100's price/performance ratio is still quite high. The test performance gap is not the same as the M5000, which is twice as expensive. Obviously, the upgrade from the game card is huge, and the new Crimson driver also brings greater stability.

However, AMD wants to regain lost ground in professional cards. It is still a long way to go. The gap between the professional card market is only true 0 and 9. Many children do not know that A card and professional card... Hope to be slow from Radeon Pro series products. Change it slowly...
