What are the installation steps for the LED guardrail tube:

The first step is to install the LED guardrail tube on the wall. Drill holes into the wall, fix expansion screws, and then mount the LED guardrail tubes using self-tapping screws. The spacing between the tubes should be determined based on customer requirements, usually ranging from 1cm to 3cm.

Step two involves checking if there’s a waterproof rubber ring at the joint of the LED guardrail tube. These are typically white or red silicone rings. Then, connect the signal and power lines together, ensuring a tight connection before tightening the nut. It’s recommended to use glass glue or black tape to wrap the connections for better waterproofing. Avoid making messy connections, as this can lead to water ingress and cause serious issues during maintenance later on.

Step three is installing the power supply (transformer or switching power supply). Based on the transformer's power and the LED guardrail tube's power, calculate how many tubes each transformer can support. For example, a 108-color LED colorful guardrail tube consumes 10W per meter, while a 144-lamp LED guardrail tube uses 12W per meter. A 400W waterproof transformer can power up to 36 meters of 108-lamp tubes or 32 meters of 144-lamp tubes. Place the transformer between the 18th and 19th positions, connect the two lines, and provide several sub-ports with 18 on each side.

For effective waterproofing, LED guardrail tubes must use silicone sealant. This is widely accepted, though a few manufacturers still use hot melt adhesive.
