Summary: This document is an engineering report describing a 6.5 VDC, 600 mA CV / CC charger designed with the TNY266P. The TNY266P chip consists of a 700V power MOSFET switch, a power controller and a protection circuit. The control method is different from the traditional PWM type switching power supply. It adopts simple on/off control output voltage, and the transient response time is faster than the traditional PWM type, and it has undervoltage protection function.
