Airbus Europe's First A330 Wide Body Finishing and Delivery Center Settled in Tianjin

According to Bloomberg News on September 20, the Airbus Group of France will build a widebody aircraft factory in Tianjin, China. This is its first European A330 widebody completion and delivery center, which shows that Airbus wants The ambition to become the world’s largest aviation hegemon in 10 years also indicates that China’s aviation market has great potential for development.

The Airbus Tianjin A330 widebody completion and delivery center is located in Tianjin, worth US$200 million for spray painting and cabin installation of the A330 aircraft. Tianjin had previously built an assembly and delivery center to produce single-aisle aircraft A319s and A320s.

Airbus CEO Fabrice Bregier said: “This is directly related to investment and market access.” Since the investment in the single channel assembly center, aircraft manufacturers’ market share has risen from 20% to 50%.

In order to win the favor of China, Airbus and Boeing are transferring part of their manufacturing and supply chain to China. The United States estimates that China will purchase planes with a total value of up to 1.1 trillion U.S. dollars in the next 20 years. The Chinese government will also make key purchase decisions. For China, the completion of the A330 widebody and delivery center provided an opportunity for the construction of commercial aircraft.

Manufacturers in Toulouse, France are also trying to add the A350s to China. China needs more wide-body aircraft and there is also strong demand for the A380.

Why China is located in China

In addition to meeting the “Made in China 2025” blueprint, this cooperation can also allow two aviation giants to expand their business in Asia to ease the pressure on existing facilities. The first A330 to be delivered will take off from the new route, and the center plans to reach a scale of two per month after one year.

Airbus also set up a factory in Qingdao, and Boeing began construction of the 737 single-aisle airliner completion and delivery center in Zhoushan. They also jointly invested in China Aviation Industry Corporation to supply aviation parts.

China has already signed a lot of aircraft bills with aircraft manufacturers. In July of this year, Airbus and China finalized orders for 100 single-channel A320 and 40 A350s wide-body aircraft worth US$22 billion. In 2015, Chinese airlines and leasing companies and Airbus finalized orders for approximately 780 aircraft worth a total of US$102 billion.

Will Horton, a senior analyst at the Asia Pacific Aviation Center, said: "China wants to recoup some value in orders because assembly and exterior make up only a small share of the total value, and Airbus and Boeing can use this to develop Chinese business."

The tide of tourism has driven long and short flights, making the Chinese aviation market profitable. According to the forecast of the International Air Transport Association, by 2025, the number of passengers in China, flights to and from China will increase to 927 million passengers and reach 1.3 billion by 2035.

Mohshin Aziz, an aviation analyst at Maybank Investment Bank, said: “China is already considering the development of the aviation industry in all aspects. Manufacturing is their top priority, but it is also the most difficult part to complete. This can deliver both wide and narrow bodies at the same time. The completion of the Airliner Center will bring tangible benefits to China." (Internship Compilation: Wang Wei reviewer: Li Zongze)

Colored Glass Fliter

Color filters are flat glass or gelatin sheets of various colors. Their transmission bandwidth is hundreds of Angstroms. They are mostly used in broadband photometry or installed in stellar spectrograph to isolate overlapping spectral levels.

Its main feature is that the size can be made quite large.

The color filter is mainly used for stage lamp decoration. It has a wide variety of colors, such as red, yellow, green and blue. One of its remarkable characteristics is the absorption of light, especially the selective absorption of light with specific wavelength.
