The traditional high-pressure sodium lamp was removed and replaced with a new energy-saving LED with long life, no pollution and low carbon environmental protection.
"LED street lights can make up for the shortcomings of traditional high-pressure sodium lamps, such as low light efficiency and high power." Jiang Yi, director of the Guilin City Lighting Management Office, told the reporter that "the LED street light has an energy saving rate of 40% compared with the conventional high-pressure sodium lamps previously used." Left and right, and the light is soft, the color rendering is good; secondly, the normal service life of the LED street lamp is 4 to 50,000 hours, and the warranty period is long, which effectively saves the maintenance cost. According to reports, after the completion of 14 road LED street lamp renovation projects, the goal of saving 30% of electricity can be achieved. It is estimated that the annual saving of street lamp electricity costs will be 500,000 yuan, and the street lamp operation and maintenance fee will be saved 100,000 yuan, which will better construct green, healthy and humanities. The urban lighting environment is more conducive to the work and life of the citizens. 
Reconstruction of LED street lights in 14 blocks of Guilin City
