Yiguang enters China's lighting channel and standard market through joint venture
Yiguang recently cooperated with the Chinese lighting company Shanghai Yaming Bulb, and hopes to enter China's lighting and standard market by cooperating with Chinese lighting companies. Because of the huge customer base and channel scale of Shanghai Yaming Bulb, Yiguang has excellent performance. LED related design capabilities, so the two sides jointly established Shanghai Yaming solid state lighting. In the future, the new company's products will be based on LED finished lamps, including indoor and outdoor lighting, architectural landscape lighting, street lights and other related products.
In addition to Shanghai Yaming, there will be one or two joint ventures in China in the future, indicating the determination of Yiguang in the layout of the terminal.
The SL-Dolphin LED street light series is the industry's first LED street light to offer a wide range of light options.
Kammerer believes that the LED street lamp market has great potential. This year, China's ten-city plan is expected to drive a large number of LED street lamp market growth, and 46 cities in the US market are about to introduce LED street lamp plans.
Everlight currently has a 60-70 demonstration project for LED streetlights, including mainland China, Europe, and the United States. Customers are mostly local governments and power companies. The billion-light LED street light market is the launch of the SL-Dolphin LED street light series.
The SL-Dolphin Street Light Series is the industry's first choice for a wide range of light types. The existing Phoenix, Trex and Venus models are available for Type IV, Type III and Type II applications. The applicable road width can be from 6m to 12m to meet different road conditions. At this stage, 7 specifications of 48~150W have been developed, and 180W products will be developed in the future. The SL-Dolphin street light series currently has a luminous efficiency of about 60Lm/W, and has passed many safety certifications in Taiwan, China, Europe, and the United States.
In addition to street lighting products, Everlight will also launch lighting products that meet the Energy Star test standards at the end of July 2009. It is expected that the products will be available at the conferences in the second half of the year.

High-power LED components are developed in two directions: high performance and high color rendering.
In the LED component part of the lighting field, this year's billion-light high-power LED products are moving towards two trends, high efficiency and high color rendering. In the high-efficiency high-power LED section, the latest product has a Typical value of 100Lm and a luminous efficiency of about 80Lm/W (CRI 75%). In the high color rendering product segment, this year is the introduction of CRI >90% high color rendering LED, color temperature is 3000K, the luminous efficiency is about 50Lm / W.
As for the AC LED, there are currently 2~4W AC LED products, the luminous efficiency of Cool White 5650K is about 65lm/W; Warm White 3200K is about 55Lm/W, which will be exhibited at the Taipei Photonics Exhibition in June 2009. Mass production will be officially launched in July 2009.

NB TV will drive the growth of the LED backlight market
Kammerer believes that this year's backlight market will be one of the main growth kinetics driving Yiguang, especially in the LED NB backlight growth momentum this year. It is expected that the penetration rate of LED NB will reach 70~80% by the end of 2009, and the annual penetration rate of LED NB is over 50%.
The LED TV segment is currently actively promoted by Samsung. In the second quarter of this year, Everlight began to cooperate with TV brand LG. Because of its excellent technology and capacity scale, it has become one of the supply chain manufacturers of Korean TV brands.
At present, Yiguang's products in the backlight field are new two new SMD backlight LED package components: 99-211 and 62-127, and the target will be locked on NB and TV. 9-211 is the SMD LED of the Side view, and the Luminous Intensity can reach 2200mcd. In addition to being applied to NB, it can also be applied to products such as mobile phone backlights. Unlike the previous one, the 62-127 is a Top View SMD LED with a Luminous Intensity of 7200mcd and a high flux output and high current withstand capability. The backlight of the TV.

Since the beginning of this year, Everlight has been constantly seeking new opportunities and strategies for cooperation. In the patent section, a patented interaction with OSRAM will help expand the development of lighting and automotive applications. However, since the second quarter of 2009, the supply gap of blue LED chips has gradually increased. Even the largest packaging manufacturer in Taiwan, Everlight has felt the shortage of LED chips. And Everlight believes that the shortage of Blu-ray LEDs will continue until the end of the third quarter. However, because Yiguang and upstream chip makers Jingdian and CREE are long-term partners, the impact will be compared to other manufacturers.
