Wind power is the leader of new energy, and Dalian is the center of research and development and manufacturing of wind power equipment in the country. The largest domestic waste incineration treatment project in China is currently entering the construction phase in Dalian. The total investment of this project is 750 million yuan. It adopts internationally advanced circulating fluidized bed incineration technology to calculate 1,500 tons of waste per day, and waste heat from waste incineration. Vapor is used for power generation, with an annual generating capacity of 223 million kWh. It is expected that the entire project will be put into operation in 2008, when Dalian will bloom a new energy.
